John is committed to building on the progress of Brookhaven's past and present leaders to create a city that is equitable, accessible, and prosperous for all residents.
The COVID-19 pandemic hit some of our most vulnerable residents and businesses the hardest. We have a responsibility to create pathways for our residents and businesses to get ahead and build meaningful economic security.
One of the most important roles for any city government is to guarantee that residents are safe and secure no matter where they go. John will work with leaders throughout the community to keep our homes, streets, and sidewalks safe.
Housing prices are growing at a record pace. We must work to both build more housing options and ensure current residents are not priced out of the neighborhoods in which they live.
In addition to maintaining and repairing existing streets and sidewalks, we should work with leaders throughout the region to create innovative ways for our residents to get around the city and region.
Our parks are some of our greatest assets. Our commitment to providing green space to our communities should be reflected in a new commitment to sustainability and protecting our environment.
Brookhaven is home to tens of thousands of talented people eager to do meaningful work. By providing additional resources to our workforce, we can continue to be one of the most competitive cities in the state for both workers and businesses.
John is committed to bringing new businesses and opportunities to Brookhaven while maintaining the small town character that makes Brookhaven so special.
